Currently there are over five million individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease in the United States of America. This number is expected to triple in the next thirty to forty years. Alzheimer’s disease affects nearly every person in our society either directly or through a family member, loved one, friend or colleague.
It is hoped that earlier diagnosis, better treatments and more effective medications may greatly improve the lives of those suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
